2024 Exempt Withholding Status

The information supplied on the Federal Form W-4 is used to determine the amount of Federal income tax to withhold from your paycheck. Form W-4 needs to be completed only once unless there is a change in address, a change in tax status or if you claim an exemption from federal withholding. Employees who claim exempt status for income tax withholding are required to re-file a new W-4 each year.

If your information is already up to date and you do not intend to claim exempt status for Tax Year 2024 you do not need to do anything. If you currently claim exempt status, please note that unless you submit a new Form W-4 we are required to change your federal withholding status to single with $0 for dependents. The 2024 Form W-4 is available on irs.gov (www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw4.pdf). Please submit any new Form W-4 to Onboarding@impellam.com by Thursday, February 15, 2024.
